Grocery shopping and delivery options

All four deliver groceries, but slots, charges and same-day options depend on your postcode and the time you book. Sainsbury’s, for example, sets a £25 minimum order and charges more for baskets under £50. Each also sells a delivery pass — compare them on our delivery passes page.

Compare the items you actually buy

Headline savings figures are averages and rarely match one household. The fairest test is your own list: price it at each shop including member prices you’d genuinely get, any promotion conditions, the delivery charge and whether items are in stock locally. Use the unit-price calculator when pack sizes differ.
