What we do

CompareDirect is an information website that lists publicly available UK deals for SIM-only plans, mobile phones, broadband, energy and car insurance, and links to the providers. We do not sell any product, enter into contracts with you, or handle payments. Any purchase is between you and the provider.

Not a whole-of-market comparison

We do not cover every provider or deal. Listings are manually checked snapshots of official pages on the date shown, not live prices. Energy figures labelled as Ofgem benchmarks are price-cap illustrations, not offers.

Accuracy

We take care to keep information accurate, but prices, availability and terms can change at any time. Always confirm the full details on the provider's website before you buy.

No advice

Nothing on this site, including the AI adviser, is financial, insurance or legal advice or a personal recommendation. AI suggestions may be wrong; please check them.

Not a credit broker

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or copy content in bulk (including by scraping) without permission.

We are not responsible for providers' products, services or websites. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for losses arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You may also bring proceedings in Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
