Three SIM only deals

Last updated: 22 October 2026

Three launched in 2003 as the UK's first 3G-only network. It now forms part of VodafoneThree alongside Vodafone, and the two networks are being combined over several years. Three has long been associated with generous and unlimited data plans and was an early 5G home broadband provider.

Who is Three?

  • Owned by: VodafoneThree
  • Network: Three (its own network)
  • Website: www.three.co.uk

What network does Three use?

Three runs its own network of masts, so your signal and 5G availability match Three's coverage. Check your postcode on Ofcom's mobile coverage checker and pick Three before signing up.

What deals does Three offer?

Phone contracts, SIM only plans with unlimited data options, 5G home broadband and pay-as-you-go.

We don't currently hold a dated price list for Three. Visit Three's website for current plans, or compare SIM only deals from other providers.

Contact Three customer service

These are the contact routes Three publishes. Numbers starting 03 cost the same as a normal landline call and are usually included in phone plan minutes; 0800 and 0808 numbers are free. Check Three's website for opening hours.

Frequently asked questions

Can I keep my number if I move to Three?

Yes. Text PAC to 65075 from your current phone to get a free switching code, then give it to Three. Your number normally moves within one working day.

Is Three coverage the same as Three?

Three is the network itself, so coverage is Three's own.

Will Three credit check me?

Pay-monthly plans usually involve a credit check; pay-as-you-go does not. CompareDirect is not a credit broker and does not run credit checks.
