Broadband contract exit fee estimator

See roughly what it could cost to leave your broadband contract before it ends.

£150.00 – £180.00

The higher figure is every remaining monthly payment. Many providers deduct VAT and costs they no longer have, which gives the lower figure. Your provider must tell you the exact fee — ask them before you leave.

When you may not have to pay

You can usually leave without a fee if your speed stays below the minimum guaranteed speed and your provider can't fix it, or if the provider raises prices beyond what your contract allowed. Once your minimum term ends, you only need to give 30 days' notice.

Is leaving worth it?

Add the exit fee to the cost of the new deal and compare it with staying put. Our monthly cost calculator can help.

Results are estimates to help you decide. Your calculations stay on your device — we don't save them.
