Lebara runs on Vodafone's network and focuses on 30-day SIM only plans with international calls.

Lebara at a glance

  • Type: Virtual network using Vodafone
  • Owned by: Lebara Group
  • What it sells: 30-day and 12-month SIM only plans with international minutes.

Many Lebara plans include minutes to dozens of countries.

Lebara coverage

Lebara doesn't own masts — it uses Vodafone's network. Wherever Vodafone has signal, Lebara customers should too. Coverage varies street by street and indoors, so check your home and work postcodes on Ofcom's coverage checker before you buy.

Customer feedback: official complaint figures

Ofcom only publishes complaint figures for providers with more than 1.5% of the pay-monthly mobile market, and Lebara is not currently listed. That says nothing good or bad about its service — it simply means the official figures don't cover it. Read reviews from CompareDirect members or check independent review sites before you switch.

Contact Lebara customer service

These are the contact routes Lebara publishes. Numbers starting 03 cost the same as a normal landline call and are usually included in phone plan minutes; 0800 and 0808 numbers are free. Check Lebara's website for opening hours.

Complaining about Lebara

Complain to Lebara first. If it isn't resolved after eight weeks, or you get a 'deadlock letter', you can take it free of charge to the independent ombudsman scheme Lebara belongs to. Ofcom explains the process on its how to complain page.
